Bench Fees/Deposits: All repairs require a $100 deposit. This gets your amp on my bench to estimate the repair. If you choose to move ahead with work estimated, the $100 will apply to the total cost of the repair. If you decline, the deposit is kept as payment for the diagnostic time spent. 

 

Labor Fees: $100/hr plus parts. I try my best to indicate the time and parts needed on the estimate in effort to be transparent on final costs of repairs before the work begins. However, in some cases, further issues may present themselves in the process of the repair, at which time I will communicate these changes/additions to the original estimated work before moving forward. Typical repairs require 1.5 to 3 hours, but many variables can affect the time needed. 

 

Turnaround Times: Repair turnarounds depend on many variables, including current workload, part availability and shipping times, complexity of repair, etc. Turnarounds will be included in the estimation process. Rush/emergency repairs may require additional fees on a case-by-case basis, to be discussed at drop off. 

 

Pickups/Payments: Once your repair is completed, you will receive a final invoice, with payment made online, and a pickup timeframe will be discussed. All pickups must be made within 10 days of completion. Any repairs not picked up in 10 days will result in a $10/day storage fee. Any repairs not picked up within 45 days will become property of Strange Audio, at which time all payments made will not be refunded. If you anticipate a delay in picking up a repair, please contact me to prevent unnecessary fees and hassles.

 

Warranty: All work is warrantied for 90 days from repair completion. Please contact me with any issues/concerns.
